Asus release the Asus EEE 1005HA as a revision of their previous 1008HA that known has a high-end price in the Netbook class and comes with nonremovable battery and a radical change in design from the past EEE boxy design. So the 1005HA keeps its slim and tapered design but replace the battery with a more traditional six-cell battery. Even though it becomes slightly thicker and heavier, the 1005HA becomes a Netbook leader in battery life, and one of the cheapest computers in Amazon.
Basically, this cheapest computer’s designed based on the 1008HA design. They use a standard 160GB hard disk drive, plus a free subscription to 10GB online data storage at remote server for backing up files. Although in heavier and thicker, its design is a vast improvement over the universally boxy, toylike feel of the first few generations. This cheapest computer’s available in glossy black and blue.
The Asus EEE 1005HA provides the wide & flat keyboard. The tight shift key is made in a full size, makes it easier to use. The touch pad is working well and being marked by a rectangle of raised dots on the wrist rest. Above the keyboard there is a single quick-access button to disable the touch pad.
